OGDCL Internship Program 2023 – Islamabad Internships 2023. Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL) is a Pakistan-based oil and gas exploration and production company. It is the largest oil and natural gas exploration and production company in Pakistan, with operations in onshore and offshore areas of the country. OGDCL was incorporated in 1961 to promote, develop, explore, drill and produce hydrocarbons in Pakistan. It has a network of over 220 wells located in different parts of the country. OGDCL also operates two refineries at Mehmood Kot and Mianwali. The company has nine joint ventures with foreign partners including Shell Pakistan Limited, Eni Pakistan Limited, OMV (Pakistan) Exploration GmbH and Total E&P Pakistan Ltd.

The Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL) Pakistan is granting scholarships to Pakistani students participating in a full-time undergraduate or graduate programme at a Pakistani university. The scholarship is available to students studying in areas related to the oil and gas sector such as Petroleum Engineering, Geology, Geophysics, Petroleum Geosciences, Drilling Engineering, Petroleum Exploration and Production Technology.

Eligibility criteria:

• All applicants must fall within one of the aforementioned categories or fields.
• Where the CGPA is not applicable, the students must acquire a CGPA of at least 2.5 or higher and a first division grade of at least 60%.
• In the case of a Bachelor, all applicants must have a four-year degree.
• Applicants who have previously completed CSR Internship program are ineligible to apply for OGDCL Internships.
• After finishing their internship, all interns will be released with no job options.
• Enrolment is solely dependent on the results of written tests.
• Applicants from regions with OGDCL fields will be given preference.
• Every intern will receive a certificate.
